We will help 3,000 young people get hired in 2018.

Thanks to the help of our generous supporters, we reached last year’s goal of finding jobs and internships for 2,051 young people. This year, we’re setting our sights even higher—but we can’t do it without your help. Your investment in CONNECT2Careers will provide the following for San Diego County’s young people:

• A peer job coach for dedicated, one-on-one support
• Access to trainings, hiring events and job fairs
• Connections with thousands of job opportunities through our online portal
• When eligible, support with transportation and clothing to help them succeed as they start work

Support for every young San Diegan

We’re working even harder to build our support for populations with barriers to employment. Efforts towards this include:

• , a regional initiative to build systems that better serve opportunity youth—young adults ages 16–24 who are not working or in school nor working
• Partnerships with the City of San Diego to hire opportunity youth as interns in City departments, and with the County of San Diego to hire opportunity youth as interns in County departments
