Program Description

CONNECT2Careers (C2C) is partnering with the County of San Diego to provide up to 100 8-week paid internships within County of San Diego Departments for young adults ages 16–24 this summer. The internship will begin on Friday, June 23, 2017.

Eligibility requirements

  • 18-24 years old
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Available to work 15 hours a week/3 hour shift per day (Monday-Friday) from June 2017 to August 2017
  • Available to attend an orientation session

How to apply

1. Enroll in C2C if you are not already.
2. Complete background check packet.
3.  You will need to upload PDF versions of your background check and résumé as well as a copy of your social security card when applying.

Interviews and matching process

Potential interns will not be required to interview with the County of San Diego but may be contacted by C2C staff members for additional screening.

Interns will be matched to positions according to their area of interest and distance to work site based on information collected in the application.
